About James Booth

James Booth spent several years working in large practices in Nottingham and Lincoln. In 1999 James established his practice in West Bridgford, Nottingham.

An established member of the profession, James helps patients with chronic back, neck and pelvic pain as well as a range of shoulder, knee and ankle problems.

Having a Masters Degree in the treatment and management of sports injuries, James has extensive experience dealing with footballers, cricketers and athletes competing at elite and amateur levels.

JJames receives regular referrals from GPs, medical consultants and complementary therapists alike and always incorporates a holistic approach to the problem - treating the cause and not just the symptoms. James is recognised by most major health insurance companies, is registered with The General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institure of Osteopathy.

James regularly lectures on the subject of osteopathy, spine pathology and sports injuries to undergraduate and post-graduate university students.

As well as working in private practice, James worked as a Consultant Spinal Osteopath at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. As a member of the team in the specialist spinal unit, he was one of the few osteopaths in the country who worked at this level in the NHS. Alongside osteopathic treatment in the spinal unit, James carried out advanced spinal assessment and spinal injection clinics, and continues to work with Consultant Spine Surgeons triaging patients who need expert opinion on managing spinal pain. This experience and training means that James is able to treat and manage patients with complex spinal pathology where appropriate.
